First Saturday Devotionals

After Our Lady of Fatima’s six apparitions in 1917, she again appeared to Sister Lucia on December 10, 1925. She came expressly to request Communion of Reparation on First Saturdayscommonly known as "First Saturday Devotionals.”

Our Lady described the devotion which was to be practiced every 1st Saturday for five consecutive months with the intention of making reparation for offenses committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Her instructions included: Go to confession, receive Holy Communion, pray five decades of the Rosary, and keep Our Lady company for 15 minutes while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary.

Our Lady of Fatima Parish will practice the First Saturday Devotionals following 8:15am Mass every 1st Saturday.
